These are actual pictures of one of my patterns. Every pattern is printed in full laser color and is printed to approximate size for easiest reading. The pattern consists of pages of little boxes which represent the holes in your rug canvas. There are 40 squares across and 40 squares down on each page, which represents 8 square inches if using 5 hole per inch canvas. Each little box is printed in color and also has a number printed inside of it which corresponds to the color reference chart to tell you exactly what color yarn belongs in that hole. Along the top and right-hand side of every page are longitude and latitude numbers, they are the key to each page's placement.
You also receive a computer generated color picture of the rug and a color reference guide with instructions. rug master, am I Home Page ______________________________________________________________
Helpful Hints: When hooking, I place a mouse pad (because its flexible, yet protects what’s underneath from being poked) under the part of the canvas I am working on and fold the top and bottom part of the canvas around it. Then I place the pattern page in-between the folds of the canvas so it is sticking out on top and can easily be followed. I also mark off a row as I finish so not to get lost. Because many of these patterns are very complex, keeping track of exactly where you are as you work is critical. ______________________________________________________________
